Konami Digital Entertainment Inc has announced the releasing of Yu-Gi-Oh Duel links back in September 2016, to bring the popular Trading Card Game (TCG) into the mobile platforms. If you were the 90s kids, you would definitely remember seeing or playing the physical cards game of Yu-Gi-Oh as well as the cartoon series which debuted in 2000, featuring famous characters like Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba and many others. Currently still in it’s closed beta phase, The game is open to both Australia and Singapore. So if you are in any of the two countries, you may check out the App stores to download the mobile game.
Duel links gameplay will be the same as the TCG, with more than 700 authentic monster’s card of differing stars rating that will be displayed in 3D on the field as well as the magic and trap cards. The game is a structured turn-based TCG where players will have a limited amount Life Points in which will be reduced if they are directly attacked by the playing cards on the field. When the Life Points reaches 0, the player loses the match.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel links has PVE content where player will go through the stages as they challenge duelist in single player modes to obtain the collectible cards and increase their character’s level. Players will also be able to venture deeper into the stages by doing missions to new challenges. Doing so, players can then unlock additional characters to relive certain rivalries from the original Yu-Gi-Oh series and some other new features.
With the release of the mobile game, Players from all around the world will be able to break the barrier of the world boundaries and challenge each other in real-time to be the best of the best in this renowned TCG. Other than just playing against each other, replays from other duelist can also be watched as well to gain further knowledge and devise better strategies.
